The Fort Bend County Clerk is the keeper of all public records for the county, including birth certificates, and has served as the registrar of births for Fort Bend County since 1938.

How Much Does  Fort Bend County Birth Certificate Cost?

The cost of a Fort Bend County birth certificate is $23 for a certified certificate.  This fee is non-refundable and must be paid when you submit your application.

You can pay the fee for your Fort Bend County birth certificate by check, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.  If you are paying by credit card, you will need to provide the card number, expiration date, name on the card, and billing address.

The two forms of birth certificates are full copies and abstract copies. If the County Clerk’s Office is the record’s holder, a full copy will always be produced.
