Michigan P-EBT Eligibility Eligibility for the P-EBT program is determined based on specific requirements for both schools and students. Students must be enrolled in a National School Lunch Program (NSLP)-participating school and either have not received instruction in-person for some or all of the month due to COVID-19 related absence or be eligible for free or reduced lunch or attend a Community Eligibility Provision school. Schools must be closed or have reduced in-person learning for at least 5 consecutive days in the current school year and be a provider of the National School Lunch Program and/or School Breakfast Program. Students attending a non-NSLP virtual school or eligible homeschool must be enrolled in a Michigan virtual school or be homeschooled in Michigan and registered with Michigan Department of Education, be income eligible for free or reduced lunch, and have been previously enrolled in a NSLP-participating school on or after January 27, 2020.
