      Hi Zelinda,

I understand that rising prices and financial constraints can make it challenging to meet your basic needs. I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing difficulties with your SNAP benefits.

One option you might consider is Meals on Wheels, a program that provides nutritious meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities who are unable to prepare meals themselves. Meals on Wheels delivers meals directly to your home, ensuring that you have access to proper nutrition. If you are 60 and older or have a disability let me know your zip code and I’ll tell you who to contact to potentially get Meals on Wheels.

Another resource to consider is local food pantries. These organizations can provide emergency food assistance and support individuals and families in need. They often offer a variety of food items to help supplement your grocery budget. Same thing, let me know your county and I’ll let you know who the major food bank is in your area.

In addition, you may want to use the Texas Food Stamp Calculator to determine if you might be eligible for increased SNAP benefits. This tool can help you understand if you qualify for additional assistance based on your income, expenses, and household size.

Again if you are 60+ or have a disability let me know your zip code and I’ll let you know who to contact for Meals on Wheels or any other resources you may be looking for.

      God bless

      Nick
