What Is RSVP Texas?

The Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Houston that provides assistance to individuals with developmental challenges and physical mobility issues.

What Type Of Rehab Services Are Offered Here?

RSVP is comprised of two different entities, each of which shares a deep desire to enrich the health of uninsured and poorly funded people living in the Greater Houston area.

The Clinic Section is committed to delivering medical recovery care to people who have suffered brain, spinal cord, or amputation accidents.

The Equipment Division, previously Project Union, provides walkers, canes, and wheelchairs to those with physical impairments who may otherwise have a difficult time obtaining them.

Editor’s Note: The Equipment Division has temporarily shut down due to their warehouse no longer being available. To learn more about when RSVP could start providing free medical equipment to uninsured individuals with disabilities again, refer to their website.

RSVP Clinic Services

Medical treatment, nursing care, pharmacist assessment, rehabilitation programs, occupational therapy, speech therapy, humanitarian services, behavioral examination, and chaplaincy programs are all included in an outpatient environment. All facilities are only available by reservation.

RSVP Medical Equipment

RSVP-MED delivers reused affordable medical devices to people with disabilities who may not otherwise be able to obtain them. Wheelchairs, wheelchair firm backs, wheelchair cushions, walkers, canes, and bathroom facilities are usually accessible.

RSVP Texas cannot promise that it will have certain medical equipment, but it does everything it can to locate one that will fit your requirements.
