When you receive your March 2023, Texas food stamps will depend on the last digit of your Texas EDG number.  You’ll want to use the chart below to find the last digit of your EDG number and then look at the date.

Please remember that this is a tentative date that Texas Health and Human Services plans to issue your food stamps. They try their best to get your food stamps to you on time, but they could be delayed…

Or you could get them sooner, which is always a good thing!

Weekend EBT Deposit Dates

If your food stamps are scheduled to be deposited on the weekend, they could be issued to you on Friday before or delayed until the following Monday. This is due to the fact that most government offices, including those related to issuing food stamps, are closed on weekends.

March 2023 Federal Holidays That Could Impact The EBT Deposit Schedule

No federal holidays could impact SNAP deposit dates this month, so your benefits should arrive on time in March.

If You Didn’t Receive Your March 2023 Food Stamps Do This…

Contact the Lone Star Help Desk at 800.777.7328. This is the phone number that SNAP recipients can call to report issues with their EBT account. This includes not receiving your SNAP benefits on time.

This number differs from the 211 Texas Health and Human Services number of 877.541.7905. That number is for individuals who are trying to apply for food stamps. Many clients I work with confuse those two numbers, so  I encourage you to remember the difference if you ever have issues with your EBT account.
