Or you could get them sooner, which is always a good thing!

Weekend EBT Deposit Dates

If your food stamps are scheduled to be deposited on the weekend, they could be issued to you on Friday before, or they may be delayed until the following Monday. This is due to the fact that most government offices, including those related to issuing food stamps, are closed on weekends.

February 2023 Federal Holidays That Could Impact The EBT Deposit Schedule

The only federal holiday in February is Presidents Day, which will fall on Monday, February 20, 2023. As a result of this holiday, food stamps may be delayed. If your normal EBT deposit date falls on or around February 20th, please keep this in mind and plan accordingly.

If You Didn’t Receive Your February 2023 Food Stamps Do This…

Contact the Lone Star Help Desk at 800.777.7328. This is the phone number that SNAP recipients can call to report issues with their EBT account. This includes not receiving your SNAP benefits on time.

This number is different than the 211 Texas Health and Human Services number of 877.541.7905. That number is for individuals who are trying to apply for food stamps. Many clients that I work with confuse those two numbers, so  I encourage you to remember the difference if you ever have issues with your EBT account.

The last digit of EDG determines when these food stamps are dispersed every month starting from the first day and ending with the fifteenth. In the next section, I will provide an easy-to-understand timetable so that you can stay up to date on when to expect your Texas Food Stamps each month.
