COH Child Therapy

We have a partnership with Harris Center (the mental health authority of Harris County) and we can connect you to one of the therapist we work with. Here are the details of Child Therapy Program:

  • Harris Center therapist visits your child at least once a month. Typically they meet the child in school
  • The program can last up to 1 year
  • I provide support for that year to your family by providing resources like the ones below
  • If your child needs medication or a psychiatrist we can work to get you connected
  • We serve children 3 to 17 years old. The best results are with kids 7 and up. The better a child can engage with our counselor the better the results. Despite this if you have a young child let me know and we can discuss whether it would be a good fit for our program.
  • The initial intake takes place at our office, but after that our therapist will come to you

To start this process you and I will need to meet to complete an application. Once the application is complete I’ll relay it to our therapist and they will contact you to coordinate a date and time for the intake.

If this sounds like something you are interested in or have further questions just respond to this email and we can coordinate a date and time.
